The goal of individual psychotherapy is to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space for you to focus on and work towards goals in your life. Some people seek counseling at times of crisis, in the hopes of reducing the impact of painful situations on their daily life, relationships and level of functioning. Sometimes support is sought to speed recovery from these crises. 

Another common purpose of psychotherapy is to create a space where we, in our over-filled lives, can find the time and space to consider where we are in life and where we'd like to go.

Whatever brings you to therapy, I will work flexibly within different modes of treatment to plan a treatment course in line with your goals and at your pace. I have been trained in DBT, CBT, Art Therapy, Holistic Psychotherapy, Positive Psychology and more. 

I have experience supporting people through short and long term difficulties including grief, anxiety, anger, PTSD, bi-polar symptoms, parenting issues, difficulty with transitions, stress, gender issues and borderline personality disorder.
