Welcome.

You may be navigating intense emotions, relationship strain, or patterns you can’t shake. Together, we’ll clarify your goals, identify what’s getting in the way, and use practical DBT-informed strategies along with the EMDR Flash Technique, when appropriate, to reduce the impact of distressing memories and help you move forward with greater ease. We’ll practice skills between sessions so progress feels steady and measurable.

“Kristen is an incredibly supportive, honest and knowledgable therapist. She has a way of helping me see things from another perspective—her suggestions on how to handle and cope with life’s situations have been right on. I appreciate her down to earth personality, how easy she is to talk to, and her ability to shoot from the hip.”

Common reasons people come to therapy:

  • Grief and loss

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Anger and emotion regulation

  • PTSD and trauma

  • Bipolar symptoms

  • Obsessive compulsive tendencies

  • Substance use

  • Depression

  • Executive functioning challenges (e.g., ADHD)

  • Parenting and family issues

  • Life transitions

  • Gender identity and expression

  • Borderline Personality Disorder

  • Relationship Conflicts

  • Disordered eating

Your reasons may look different than those listed here, and that’s okay. When difficult emotions, conflict, or stuck patterns start to crowd out your sense of wellbeing, therapy can act as a release valve—creating room for change and a clear path toward a better life.

How we’ll work together:

  • Goal-oriented + flexible: Care will be aligned to your priorities and adapt as you grow.

  • Evidence-based: DBT is the backbone, with CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, EMDR Flash, trauma-informed care, and behavior change strategies layered in. Our work together will be tailored specifically to your unique needs.

  • Telehealth only: Sessions are virtual for adults located in Massachusetts at the time of the session. You can open up and make real progress from the comfort of your own home.
